How to register for the Community World Cup
- Get a team of 5 -10 players together.
- Designate one person as team captain. This person will be the main contact person for your team.
- Contact the Community World Cup at info@communityworldcup.com to get access to your team’s fund raising page. The captain of the team will be able to invite all of the players to join the team.
- As soon as you have access to your fundraising page you can begin to fundraise and have a chance to win the great prizes for the top fundraising team and the top fund raiser.
Important things to remember:
- The Community World Cup is open to adult (18+) players of all skill levels.
- In order for your team to be considered fully registered for the Community World Cup, the team must raise a minimum of $1,500 in pledges.
- Full (100%) tax receipts will be given for pledges
- Prize for the top fundraising team:
- Personal tour of BMO Field given by Danny Dichio and other Toronto FC players
- Ten minutes of on field coaching by Danny Dichio and other TFC players
- Every player on the team will receive a signed TFC jersey from their favourite TFC player
- Prize for top fund raising player:
- Personal tour of BMO Field given by Danny Dichio and other Toronto FC players
- Signed TFC jersey from their favourite TFC player
- Tickets to a TFC game
- Autographed picture from Danny Dichio
All players in the Community World Cup must sign a waiver prior to playing in their first game. Any teams that filed a player who has not signed a waiver will automatically register a 3-0 loss for any game in which that player has played.
